A: Unfortunately, no. Apple does not share any customer contact information, and doesn't give developers any access to MAS orders, so you will need to contact them if you have any issues.
A: Unfortunately, no. You will need to consult Apple on that. They are the only ones who have information on your Mac App Store orders and they are the only ones who can refund your purchase.
A: Unfortunately not. Apps are 10.6.6+ and Intel-only based on Apple’s submission requirements.
For example: I already have purchased MacGourmet on my Mac. Once the Mac App Store is available, I’d like to download MacGourmet and use the Mac App Store to auto update it. Of course, I don’t want to have to pay for a second copy of MacGourmet.
A: Currently Apple has no plans to do anything like “sharing” of customer data or purchases in either direction. So, it looks like apps bought from the MAS will remain managed there and the customer info belongs to Apple. Purchases made through any 3rd party, in the past, present, or future, will remain managed by the 3rd party – MacGourmet has an automatic updating utility so you should get notifications of updates – but again, only when you launch MacGourmet.
Unfortunately, our hands (as developers) are tied on this issue.
